A friend of mine invited me out to see Tapes N Tapes play at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle a few weeks ago, so of course I brought my camera along.

Cinco de Mayo, Ballard, and one of my favorite new bands is playing at the Tractor Tavern, Chicago’s Company of Thieves. Genevieve Schatz, the lead singer has this crazy folksy/indie voice that is just to die for, while Marc Walloch cranks out these awesome riffs on guitar and Mike Ortiz wails on drums. On tour with them are Bob Buckstaff on Bass and Mike Maimone on keyboard.
